7-Data Recovery Suite

Several data loss scenarios run through my mind right about now: you accidentally deleted some files, a hard drive crashed, a drive was formatted, a partition was damaged. No matter how your data was lost, it can be brought back with a data recovery tool such as the aptly named 7-Data Recovery Suite. This Windows data recovery utility can bring back data that used to be stored on local/external storage devices or Android-powered smartphones and tablets.

7-Data Recovery Suite provides support for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 (32-bit and 64-bit).
7-Data Recovery Suite provides support for local drives (HDD or SSD) and external storage devices like USB sticks, memory cards, SD cards, or external HDDs.
7-Data Recovery Suite provides support for smartphones and tablets powered by Google’s Android mobile operating system.

A setup wizard will help you install 7-Data Recovery Suite on a Windows-powered PC. During the installation process, a prompt will show up and warn you to “Please do not install 7-Data Recovery Suite to the drive you want to recover.”

7-Data Recovery Suite has several data recovery modes to offer and they’re all very clearly presented on its interface:
Complete Recovery – use this mode to recover files from existing partitions under any conditions.
Deleted Recovery – use this mode if you accidentally deleted files or if you accidentally emptied the Recycle Bin.
Lost Partition Recovery – use this mode to recover data from lost or deleted partitions; use this mode if the hard drive crashed, if the MBR is corrupted, if the disk has been repartitioned, if a partition has been overwritten, and so on.
Digital Media Recovery – use this mode to recover photos, music, or videos.
Android Recovery – use this mode to recover files from Android phones and tablets.

No matter which data recovery mode you choose, you will be presented with a wizard that will help you bring back lost data. Please note that 7-Data Recovery Suite Free Edition can recover only 1GB of data in total. This is also clearly presented on the interface, in the bottom left hand corner.
